Thank you Pacifica for making PACIFIC PASSIONS a success!! We have grown from 80% locals, to now 60-70% of our customers coming in from outside of Pacifica, many each day from around the country and around the world!
In the future as we grow with Pacifica our www.Pacific PASSIONS.us website will be operated not only to show and promote just what we have in our store right now, but most importantly to present and showcase those new items and newly consigned goods that we just got into the store, especially if the items are those unusual and unique "one-of-a-kind" bargains which we all crave to get, because if you see it in the store today you had better buy it now as it may not be there when you come back the next day. Life doesn't have to be complicated and shopping is and should be fun.
Join us in our passion for shopping and finding values and good buys.
With a variety of offerings to choose from, we're sure you'll be happy working with us.
Look around our website and if you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact us.
Do you have something unusual to sell or consign?
Something of value that our Pacific PASSIONS customers would want to buy is always what we are looking for.
there are plenty of other places where you can sell or donate those kinds of good, keep Leilani's Thrift Store in mind and all the good that she does to help people of Pacifica in need.
We want the kinds of values our customers will keep coming back for so we offer great consignment opportunities.
Remember we really did start at a garage sale at my Sharp Park house where I learned that my friends and neighbors really did need a place to sell their stuff in order to help make ends meet in this tight economy, and we learned to help each other make our dreams come true.
Store Credit-YES!!
A Win-Win-Win all around!!!
We take your checks too!
Checks-YES!!
Generally our standard split is 60/40,that means that 60% of the final sale price goes to YOU as the seller, only 40% to the store to cover our costs of operation.
As a bonus, and especially if you would like store credit instead to re-invest and empower the other consignee-sellers then we offer you 70% store credit
GREEN is GOOD-
keep useful items out of the landfill.
Our Pacific PASSIONS "Power Shoppers" can even charge it "on-account", just like in the old days before . We are tired of those fees the banks charge, banks already take too much of our money, and those debit card charges can be really sneak attacks on your budget. Coming soo Target Tuesdays, we you can save an additional 5% simply by just showing us your TARGET CARD.

"The only way we are going to get out from under this bad economy is to empower ourselves."
Former San Bruno Mayor Gary J. Mondfrans, the driving force behind PACIFIC PASSIONS, explained it really did start at a Garage Sale, when the former Mayor learned that his neghbors needed a place to sell their good in order to make ends meet in this tight economy. As Former Mayor Mondfrans told current Pacifica Mayor Pete DeJarnatt at Pacific PASSIONS' Grand Opening on January 27th, 2012,
"It's like when the airplane is about to crash and the air bag start dropping down from above, the Captain first tell you to 'Save Yourself' before you can help your baby or that infirm senior citizen next to you.
Pacific PASSIONS was created by former
Mayor Gary Mondfrans to help empower others, our friends and neighbors here in Pacifica, to help make ends meet by enabling others to sell their unneeded clothing and consignments and to sell to others at fashionable clothing and consigned good at valuable savings.
Former San Bruno Mayor Gary J. Mondfrans
last year at the World Trade Center 9-1-1 Memorial Site during President Barack Obama's visit to New York City over the Mother's Day Weekend in May of 2011. Mondfrans placed a Mother's Day Card to honored all the Mother's who suffered on that horrible day and are suffering still to this day as they continue to mourn the loss of their loved ones.
Pacific Pacific PASSIONS creator, owner and proprietor, Gary J. Mondfrans, the driving force behind Pacific PASSIONS Clothing and Consignments, who evolved the former Bearly Worn Children's Consignment Store across from the Pacifica Post Office into what it is today.
"We grew up, and we are filing a definate need here in Pacifica to sell high-quality new and 'barely worn' clothing items at value prices and by helping our Pacifica friends and neighbors earn the extra income they need to get by in these tough economic times."
